- Junior Singleton would like it to be known that he has not struck oil in his backyard as was reported last week. Turns out he just hit a very old septic tank. The new no smoking rule at his house still applies for the time being.
- Red has inched closer to finalizing the details of his upcoming book - Red Green's Woulda Coulda Shoulda Book of Canadian Inventions.
- Missing: a 14 foot python snake from the Possum Lake Zoo. "Betsy" has not eaten in a week and is considered very dangerous. If spotted please contact Animal Control officer Ed Frid. The Zoo is offering a $100 reward for the safe return of the snake. Ed is offering an extra $100 if you bring it in without contacting him.

- After nearly 30 years of dating, we are pleased to announce Old Man Sedgwick has gotten engaged to longtime girlfriend Suzie Murphy. When asked why it hadn't happened sooner, Old Man Sedgwick said, "I thought we got married 23 years ago."
