- Happy New Year to all the Lodge Members out there. I once heard a sprinter say every time you turn to look behind you in a race, you lose time and ground. At my age I can't afford to lose any more of either so forget looking back, let's all look ahead to a great 2018.
- In response to thousands of requests, I will not be touring in 2018. Maybe 2019 will have something in store but who knows. After finishing a book and touring in 2017 I am ready to play dead for awhile. At the moment Bernice is excited at the prospect of having me around more. But this is not a time of year where feelings or commitments last long so we will see.
- Make sure to check out Justin Niichel, our Member of the Month for January. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then let me say I am uncomfortably flattered, Justin.
- Apparently one of our writers for our show has found a new way for you to watch it. You can tune in to a website and watch the show live along with him, and he will answer your questions and talk about what you are watching. Kind of like a live Director's commentary. I highly recommend it because it doesn't require me to do anything. Check out the schedule at www.twitch.tv/redgreenjrtv for when you can watch along. Click the 'Follow' button if you want to be notified without having to keep checking the schedule.
- Old Man Sedgwick was trying to set up a Seniors Football League for men over the age of 65. Unfortunately the schedule was cut short when all members of every team pulled a hamstring during the opening kick-off.
