WHERE TO WATCHI've written the words and music to hundreds of songs, primarily for past tv series like Smith & Smith and Comedy Mill. Bob Doidge, our Musical Director, is credited for writing the Red Green theme but in fact he recorded a bed track of a chord progression and then sent it to me to write a tune.
COMEDY MILL MUSIC VIDEOSMy first comedy writing job was in high school writing funny captions for pictures in the yearbook. Then I saw, "What's Up Tiger Lilly" by Woody Allen and I wished that someday I'd get to have that ridiculous kind of fun. Thanks to Chum/City tv who had some public domain movies on their library, I got the chance. These shows were probably more fun to do than they are to watch but that's not my problem.
WATCH STEVE SMITH PLAYHOUSE"The Red Green Show" first aired in 1991, introducing the world to the lovable and resourceful Red Green (played by Steve Smith) and his band of merry misfits at Possum Lodge. With a DIY ethos, a bevy of questionable inventions, and Red's sage advice, the show quickly became a Canadian classic, capturing the hearts of fans both in Canada and around the globe.
