Karen "Miss KoKo" Kean - California
Possum Lodge,
I do hereby nominate "Miss KoKo" (Karen Kean) for Possum Lodge Member of the Month. Driving home from work today, the expected dusting of snow called for in the forecast became a mini-blizzard complete with white-out conditions. Cars were wrecking everywhere. We found ourselves stuck behind some wrecked cars (city folks without chains or all-wheel-drive) before a sharp turn on an especially steep downhill road we must take before getting to our house. With snow falling quite heavy, wearing nothing but a Pink Floyd t-shirt, regular pants, ballerina shoes, and my wide-brim hat with the Possum Lodge pin, Miss KoKo got out of the car and began directing traffic through the one open lane. Not only that, she stayed for a whole half hour. That's a Winston Rothchild level of dedication of hanging in there when the going gets tough. Thank you.
