Our lodge member of the month has his work cut out for him. (He also has his face cut out for him) The Real Man is trying to teach every man in North America how to start a real fire. Apparently the simple teepee method or the cross-ditch is just too tough for some young guys to wrap their heads around. The lazy ones give up and stay inside when it’s cold, but the really stupid ones try using gasoline to start a fire. Now we could just let Darwin’s Law take care of them but when you’re out camping, hunting or ice fishing, most likely you’ve got some youngsters around soaking up everything you do and Darwin’s Law shouldn’t include innocent bystanders.
