     John 'Ribeyespud' Worley
I have a wonderful memory of traveling from Iowa to Canada in 2005 to watch the taping of the Red Green Show with my son. It was during this trip that my son started to become a young man and I started to become an old man. I am learning to embrace the advice from our Lodge Leader Red Green and begin to lower my expectations of what it means to be a success these days. I have decided that the best advice is to celebrate the simple things. If I can die with at least one of my original teeth left it will have been a good life. Since I currently have 10 teeth I figure I'm good for at least another 10 years unless we have hobo stew again.

As I was getting ready to have my picture taken with Dalton since I am bald I told him that I wished I could have his hair....he told me he wished I could have it too. We shared a laugh, I put my hat on, and we had our picture taken.

At the end of the day I can be happy that I have been able to watch my son become a young man and that we could share "The Red Green Show" together. My son and I are teaming up again soon (he's coming home from college) to see Red Green in Ames, Iowa on tour. I can't wait to see Red with my son, it will be just like old times. Please accept my submission for John "Ribeyespud" Worley for Lodge Member of the Month. I may not be much to look at, but I do have 10 teeth.
