Don Chandler
Don has been a fan of The Red Green Show since it started way back in 1990. He and his wife attended a couple of tapings but never thought in their wildest dreams they’d end up owning the set they were looking at. Don is a working airline pilot but in preparation for retirement, he and his wife purchased a small antique/collectables store in Selkirk Ontario (the name is now Erie Collectables) and were looking for a theme that would differentiate their store from all the others. When they heard about the Possum Lodge Auction at Mr. Used in August, they dropped by and bought all the walls, the staircase, Red’s desk and chair and a couple of vests and other knick-knacks to help turn the store into their version of Possum Lodge. As Don says, ‘How much more Canadian can you get?’ The store will not be ready for opening until next Spring, but once completed, everyone will be welcome to visit. Don is certainly doing his part to keep Possum Lodge alive.
