Hi, I'm Bruce, known as Rassalon on the Red Green twitch channel. I am An Australian born in the late 1950's (60 now).
I enjoy The Red Green show as it has an attitude that is very similar to an Australian point of view. We had quite a lot of Canadian TV (Degrassi, The Beachcombers, etc.) while I was growing up.
I worked in Industrial Electronics and Theater Lighting at a time when you could not just go and buy a part, you had to make it (or order it from overseas with a 2 month or longer wait) with what you had on hand in a very "Red Green" way.
I patched machines with jury rigged circuits, gaffa (duct)tape and coat hanger wire all the time. I sort of lived Handyman Corner!
